Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Riva del Sole in San Vito Lo Capo provided a compelling study in balancing luxury with value, and it’s a tale worth sharing. Upon arrival, Patrizia welcomed me, immediately making an effort to cater to my beach-bound urgency. Despite my room not being ready, she provided a much-needed coffee, a place to change, and even beach essentials, which speaks volumes about the attentive service. The hotel's location is genuinely a highlight – nestled on a quiet street while just a stone’s throw from the beach and local eateries. My room, although modest, was adequate for my needs with a decent-sized bathroom and clean facilities. I could’ve used a more comfortable mattress, but it didn’t detract greatly from my experience. Breakfast was satisfying, offering both sweet and savory options that should please most palates. The free Wi-Fi kept me connected, and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch for downtime. Plus, the 24-hour reception provided peace of mind. It’s a wise choice for travellers looking to balance comfort and affordability while soaking up the sun in Sicily.
